“Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit.”
(1 Corinthians 12:4)
Have you ever visited a butterfly farm? While touring the mounted butterfly showcases, there are distinguishing features of moths and butterflies. Usually, moths rest with their wings spread flat, while butterflies rest with their elevated and touching.
One remarkable observation written in most science books about moths and butterflies is that nature is wonderful in the way it has programmed all these tiny creatures and provided for their individual needs.
Think about that – “nature,” is commended for their existence, not God. But God should be given the credit. It is His handiwork that is revealed in moths and butterflies. He designed each one.
Similarly, no man can take credit for the distribution of spiritual gifts. Just as there are a variety of moths and butterflies, there are diversities of gifts. All gifts are given by the same Spirit of God. These gifts bring glory to God and cause unbelievers to believe.
Praise the Lord and thank Him for the diversities of gifts the same Holy Spirit distributes.
