Yes, God Can…

“Yea, they spoke against God, they said, Can God furnish a table in the wilderness.” (Psalm 78:19)

The great author, Andrew Murray, wrote, “Can God? Oh, fatal question!” He continued, “It shut Israel out of the Land of Promise. And we are in danger of making the same mistake. Can God fix my situation, or provide food for my children? Can God keep me from yielding to that besetting sin? Can God extricate me from this terrible snare in which I am entangled? We look at the difficulties, the surges that are rolling high, and we say, “If Thou canst do anything help us!”

When Israel asked, “Can God?” It hurt God, deeply. Therefore, ask no more, “Can God? Rather say, “Yes, God Can!” That will resolve many problems and bring you through many challenging situations. There is strength in belief.

Your life has not reached the utmost limit of what the Lord can do. He has new places, new growth, and new reserves. He says, “Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert” (Isaiah 43:19).

We must ask, believe, and receive because yes, God can…!
